Manage your retirement – pensions or equity release

One of the biggest issues facing the retired community today is the serious concern over the eradication of pension funds and mutual funds. This is going to be a big shock to those coming up to retirement in the coming years. It is not a joke and something that the government has to jump in to address. Some critics are calling for the head of the english PM whilst the Obama revolution has only just started, with critics no doubt waiting in the bushes to come out at the first sign of a mistake.
One thing is for sure and that is pensioners need extra finance to continue their life smooth as they were living till their retirement. They may need to pay the bills like car insurance bills, etc. Where will this come from? Baroness Hollis puts forward equity release as an option but not many are taking to it. It will come in time, as soon as SHIP begin to regulate equity release a bit better. Until then, we wait with baited breath to see what the American’s are doing when it comes to reverse mortgages. Keep checking back as this is an important subject that needs to be monitored on a close basis.
